FFXI on UBUNTU 11.04. can it be done, and how?

ok, admittedly im not a coding nerd, but i have respect for those who are :D Yes, i play ffxi. still. and im looking to switch 2 of our PC's from XP to ubuntu, but i cant loose ffxi on these 2 stations. from ' go to this website and download this' to 'click on character, and enjoy!' does ANYONE have any info? best i can find is for ubuntu 8 from 2005. surely there has been advancements in ubuntu and winehq since then.
