If someone smokes weed next to me does it affect me?

I got a friend that smokes weed, im wondering if being next to that person while he does it does it affect me in anything? I mean im not smokin but im next to the smoke, is it bad for me? Or it don't matter? I get urine tested a lot becouse of my job and I wouldn't wanna get a sorprise of having any of the **** on my system just becouse im with my friend while he smokes.. Thanks.
