Making up world for a project?

ok so im doing a project in my cl and i need some ideas cuz im stuck. We have to make up our own world and mine is a holloween theme and in one of our countries we have to do and encyclopedia entry. my country is called blood hoover and i dont have any ideas what to do for natural resources this is where you come in plz help stuck!!!
